“Showdown at the Black Goat Corral”
PANEL 1
OPEN on a black goat staring towards the reader chewing hay. It’s standing in the center of the BLACK GOAT CORRAL surrounded by other goats in front of an ominous BLACK BARN. The hayloft and the barn doors are closed. An eerie green smoke escapes from a set of gothic window style skylights cut into the roof and floats up towards a large and bright full moon.
CAPTION:
East Texas. Late October. 1869
SOUND (CHANTING FROM BARN):
Belial, Behemoth, Beelzebub..
PANEL 2
OLD WEST TOWN main street. Three women and a teenage girl stand on the front steps of the SALOON under a full moon. SARAH stands next to PRAIRIE FLOWER talking to LUPITA and ANNABELLE. Two HORSES hitched to a WAGON sit on the street.
SARAH:
Whatcha mean gone?!
LUPITA:
Ai Dios Mio! I went out to feed the horses and when I got back, everyone was gone. Desaparecido!
PANEL 3
Close up of ANNABELLE. She is gorgeous. Her long blood red curls flow over her shoulders landing on top of her ample bosom. She is wearing a black corset, a short dark crimson ruffled skirt, and knee high black leather pirate boots with a strap and a silver buckle.
ANNABELLE:
They didn’t disappear Lupita. They were taken.
PANEL 4
Annabelle stands in front of a door with her hands on the railing looking down at the first floor of the SALOON. 10 male patrons watch 3 women (WITCH1, WITCH2, & WITCH3) dance in the center of the room. The mens’ mouths hang agape; Their pupils dilated so much that their eyes look black. Strange HEX SYMBOLS float in the air.
CAPTION:

CAPTION (ANNABELLE):
Three bonnie lasses singing and dancing around in a circle. The men were unquestionably hooked! They followed them right out the door. I figure there must be a new brothel nearby..
PANEL 5
SARAH standing in front of ANNABELLE.
SARAH:
What’d they look like?
ANNABELLE:
Like they were custom made for pleasure. Sharp faces. Dark eyes. Long hair all. One silver that shined like starlight. The other two, black like raven’s feathers.
PANEL 6
SARAH talking to PRAIRIE FLOWER who is now petting the neck of one of the HORSES on the street.
SARAH:
I told ya’ those goat herders were up to no good!! Didn’t I?
PANEL 7
SARAH walking off the steps towards the WAGON. LUPITA and ANNABELLE stand in the background. LUPITA looks anxious. She is chewing her fingernails. ANNABELLE is smirking like she is happy for the excitement. She has one hand on her hip. The other is twirling a curl of her hair.
SARAH:
It was those gothic carpetbaggers who finagled the Mars ranch!
LUPITA:
Que!
SARAH:
They weren’t poached by rival whores ‘Belle. They were hexed by spawns of Satan! And you just let them walk out!
PANEL 8
PRARIE FLOWER looking up at the full moon. SARAH climbing into the WAGON. A WINCHESTER MODEL 1866 CARBINE can be seen leaning next to the wagon’s bench seat. In the back of the wagon there are tools for building a barbwire fence. Shovel, pitchfork, sickle, sledgehammer, hammer, bullwhip, post hole digger, a roll of barbwire, a bundle of stakes, box of nails, and a wooden crate marked ‘Dynamite’.

PANEL 9
SARAH and PRAIRIE FLOWER sitting in the WAGON talking to ANNABELLE and LUPITA who are now standing in the street next to the wagon. SARAH’s carbine sits across her lap and her ammo belt is across her chest. PRAIRIE FLOWER is checking her bow; a quiver of arrows on her back.
SARAH:
Nathan and I took over a pie to welcome them seein’ as we neighbors and all. But, we didn’t even get to the front porch before they surrounded us.
From the minute I laid eyes on ’em I knew they were evil.
Was the Sheriff here tonight?
LUPITA:

PANEL 10
Closeup of SARAH sitting on the WAGON with the reigns in her hand.
SARAH:
Then we on our own.
I’m going to get my man. If ya’ll want yours, come on.
You best grab your guns. I gotta feeling there’s going to be trouble.
PANEL 11
LARGE SPLASH PAGE. SARAH, PRAIRIE FLOWER, LUPITA, and ANNABELLE galloping towards the reader under a full moon. SARAH is driving the wagon pulled by two horses. PRAIRIE FLOWER sits next to her holding SARAH’s Winchester MODEL 1866 carbine and her bow; quiver of arrows on her back. LUPITA is standing behind them. One hand holding the rope for balance and the other holding a double barrel shotgun resting on her shoulder. She has a bandolier of shells across her chest. ANNABELLE rides a black stallion alongside them. She is now wearing a black leather duster. It is open revealing two DERINGER pocket pistols in holsters sewn into her corset.
PANEL 12
Inside of BLACK BARN. Scene illuminated by torchlight. WITCH1, WITCH2, and WITCH3 wearing tight short black dresses chant around a bubbling cauldron with hands raised to the sky. The men from the SALOON stand shirtless in the background. They have strange symbols painted on their chests in blood.

PANEL 13
WAGON parked next to the BLACK GOAT CORRAL. All 20 goats stare in the women’s direction. The BLACK BARN looms large under the full moon. The women huddle next to the wagon checking their weapons.
SOUND (WITCHES CHANTING):
Vincere Servus Dolorem
PRAIRIE FLOWER:

SARAH:
Yeah girl. I reckon.
LUPITA:
Aye Dios Mio! Mi Hector en la casa de Diablo! I don’t know if I can do this!!
PANEL 14
Close up of the 4 women in a huddle. SARAH is across from LUPITA. Her face is stern. LUPITA looks frazzled and has an expression of shock from SARAH’s words. PRAIRIE FLOWER has a look of admiration. ANNABELLE is smirking.
SARAH:
Puta! If you yella stay here!
I fought my way out of slavery! ‘Kept fighting everyday since to get and keep what I have. Tonight ain’t no different! These Satan worshiping cunts ain’t takin’ my Nathan!
LUPITA:
…oh my..
ANNABELLE:
Fuck Yeah. Let’s do this
PANEL 15
Close up of the WITCHES. Lot of exposed cleavage and legs. WITCH2 and WITCH3 are on the floor hugging the legs of WITCH1. They stare up at her adoringly.
WITCH1:
The ritual is almost complete. The potion is ready!
Libate and fornicate sisters!
STEAL THEIR SOULS SO WE CAN TAKE THEIR LANDS FOR OUR DARK LORD!
WITCH2:
Yeessss!
WITCH3:
HAIL SATAN!
PANEL 16
Inside the BLACK BARN. WITCH2 and WITCH3 hold ladles filled with green liquid up to the mouths of 2 men (PECK & JIMBO) on their knees. The other men stand in a line behind them waiting. WITCH1 stands behind the cauldron watching with a sinister smile on her face that is illuminated by the green glow from the cauldron.
WITCH2:
Vincere animae omnino.
WITCH3:
Vincere animae omnino.
PANEL 17
Top down view from the rafters of the barn. SARAH and ANNABELLE stand just inside the now slightly open barn doors. SARAH has her carbine pointed at WITCH1. ANNABELLE’S hands rest on the handles of her DERRINGERS. PRAIRIE FLOWER moves in the shadows along the wall towards a ladder that leads up to the hayloft, bow in hand. PECK and JIMBO are now on the other side of the cauldron their eyes dark and mouths glowing green. The next two men are on their knees. One is a muscular black man with a thick beard. WITCH2 and WITCH3 stand near them with their ladles full of glowing green potion.
SARAH
Stand back from my man WITCH!
ANNABELLE:
Party’s over lads. Time to go home.
PANEL 18
WITCHES standing around the cauldron facing SARAH and ANNABELLE. PECK and JIMBO zombie walk towards the reader. Arms extended, heads cocked to the side, eyes black, glowing green liquid coating their open mouths.
WITCH 1
Foolish farmhand! These men belong to me now!
KILL THEM!!
PANEL 19
PECK and JIMBO approaching SARAH and ANNABELLE. SARAH stands ready to shoot. ANNABELLE stands in front of her slightly crouched arms out signaling for SARAH to wait.
SARAH
Stay back or I’ll shoot!
ANNABELLE:
Wait! We don’t want to kill them. We have to break the spell.
SARAH
How we supposed to do that?!
ANNABELLE:
They’re not the only ones who know how to hex a man.
PANEL 20
Closeup of ANNABELLE in a sexy pose, her duster on the ground behind her. Her arms hug her chest pushing up her breasts. Crimson curls flow around her ravishing face. Her pink tongue touches ivory white teeth as her luscious red lips smile. Big green eyes twinkle like emeralds set in alabaster skin. Long tone legs lead down to her sexy boots.
ANNABELLE:
Come now boys. You don’t want to hurt your darling Belle do you? Think of all the fun we’ve had together.
PANEL 21
PECK and JIMBO standing in front of ANNABELLE. The spell is broken. They look confused.
PECK:
Belle?
JIMBO:
Where are we?
PANEL 22
WITCH2 and WITCH3 stand near the cauldron in angry and hostile poses. They are staring daggers at ANNABELLE. SARAH still has her CARBINE pointed at them. ANNABELLE is comforting PECK and JIMBO who are now sitting on the floor looking sick and confused. PECK is puking green liquid. JIMBO’S chest and pants are covered in green barf.
WITCH2:
AAArrrgghh! You broke our hex!
WITCH3:
What!! Impossible!!
PANEL 23
WITCH1 stands in front of the now open barn doors that lead to the corral. 20 black goats stand behind her staring in.
WITCH1:
ENOUGH! The ritual must be complete by midnight.
SOUND (WITCH1 CASTING SPELL):
IMPETUS!!
PANEL 24
Long panel. On one side, in the middle of the barn stand SARAH, ANNABELLE, PECK and JIMBO. SARAH is now next to ANNABELLE. ANNABELLE pistols are pointed towards the goats. SARAH is aiming down her carbine. PECK and JIMBO are still on the ground, but PECK has managed to pull out his six-shooter and come to one knee. JIMBO is still on his butt with his hands behind him and legs in front towards the charging goats. His faces is frozen in terror.
On the other side, now ferocious looking goats stream into the barn. Some of them have mouths open teeth visible and ready to bite. Others charge with their heads down. The rest have front hooves raised ready to stomp.
SOUND (GOATS):
Maa! Baa! Snort! Stomp!
JIMBO:
OH SHIT!
PANEL 25
SARAH and ANNABELLE blasting as they back away towards the cover of a horse stall inside the barn. SARAH has shot three. ANNABELLE has killed two. One with each of her one shot DERRINGERS. PECK stands over JIMBO shooting. He has hit three goats, but can’t stop the twelve that are left from reaching JIMBO who is still on the ground. A goat stomps him between the legs. Another bites his shoulder at the neck spraying blood.
SOUND (SHOOTING):
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
SARAH:
Get to that stall Belle!
SOUND (SHOOTING):
Bang! Bang! Bang!
PECK:
Get up Jimbo!
SOUND (GOATS MAULING JIMBO):
BAA! STOMP! BITE!
JIMBO:
AAAAHHHH!
PANEL 26
View from PRAIRE FLOWER’S position in the hayloft. The 2 goats that attacked JIMBO are laying dead on the ground from headshot wounds. Another one is being shot by PECK as he drags JIMBO with one hand towards the barn doors (away from the witches and the entrance to the corral. SARAH and ANNABELLE can be seen through the gaps between the boards in the horse stall. ANNABELLE is reloading her weapons. 9 goats butt and kick the door and walls of the stall trying to get in. PRAIRIE FLOWER’S silhouette is perched on the edge of the hayloft. She is holding a large lantern by its handle.
SOUND (PECK SHOOTING GOAT):
Bang!
PANEL 27
Lantern flying over the goats attacking the horse stall. PRAIRIE FLOWER can be seen in the background standing in the hayloft.
PRARIE FLOWER:

BLACK GOATS engulfed in flame. The lantern lays broken between them. SARAH and ANNABELLE stand inside the stall watching weapons at the ready.
PANEL 29
SARAH and ANNABELLE shooting flaming goats as they move out of the stall.
SOUND (SARAH’S RIFLE):
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
SOUND (ANNABELLE’S DERINGERS)
Bang! Bang!
PANEL 30
SARAH and ANNABELLE stand on the barn floor in front of the cauldron facing the witches. SARAH points her rifle at WITCH1. ANNABELLE is reloading. The line of men still hexed kneel on the ground behind the witches. WITCH2 & WITCH3 continue the ritual. WITCH2 is holding a handful of NATHAN’S hair bending his head back ready to pour a ladle full of the potion into his mouth.
PANEL 31
Close up of WITCH2 being shot through the side of the head while holding the ladle to Nathan’s mouth.
SOUND (SARAH’S RIFLE):
Bang!
PANEL 32
SARAH stands behind her smoking carbine. ANNABELLE stands with her guns aimed at WITCH3. WITCH3 has dropped to her knees and is screaming holding WITCH2. The ladle she was holding is on the ground.
WITCH3:
Sister!!! No!!
You killed my sister!
SARAH:
You’re damn right I did.
PANEL 33
WITCH3 charging SARAH and ANNABELLE. Her face has morphed. It is old and ugly. Covered with long white whiskers and scars. Her teeth have been filed to points and she has long claw like finger nails. SARAH stands back to back with ANNABELLE. She is reloading her rifle. ANNABELLE stands in front of the charging WITCH3, both DERINGERS pointed out.
WITCH3:
DDiieeee!!
PANEL 34
All black panel with just two white sound words stacked on top of each other.
SOUND:
BANG! BANG!
PANEL 35
SARAH and ANNABELLE standing near the cauldron. WITCH3’s body lays on the ground in pool of blood with two holes where her eyes used to be. Annabelle’s pistols are smoking. PRAIRIE FLOWER’S silhouette can be seen in the hayloft, holding her bow.
SARAH:
Attagirl ‘Belle!
Now, where’d that last witch get off to?
SOUND (PRAIRIE FLOWER IN THE HAYLOFT:
WHISTLE!
PANEL 36
WITCH1 standing in the middle of a large pentagram made out of dead goats. Her arms are raised above her head and her fingers are in the shape of horns. She is encapsulated in a green light that is coming up from the ground beneath her. The horse stall behind her is engulfed in flames (from the lantern) and the fire is starting to spread to the roof.
WITCH1:
ORIRI, ORIRI ORIRI!
PANEL 37
SARAH and ANNABELLE stand with their back to the reader guns ready in the foreground. In the background, WITCH1 levitates in the air in the center of a eerie green cyclone. BLACK GOAT and the carcasses of WITCH2 and WITCH3 swirl around her. WITCH1’S face is elongated. Her eyes large black orbs; mouth open with a forked tongue lashing about.
SOUND:
HAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHAhaHA!
WITCH1:
Cower in front of the true form of SALAMYRUKAH! Slut minion of the dark lord!
SARAH:
What the fuck?!!
ANNABELLE:
Did she say slut minion?
PANEL 38
First person view of the fully formed SALAMYRUKAH through SARAH’S CARBINE’S iron sites as she fires. SALAMYRUKAH is a grotesque mix of witch and decimated goat parts that stands as high as the hayloft. Huge bloodshot eyes bulge in a gnarly half ugly witch half demon goat face. Long black horns protrude from the top of her skull. Hands and arms made from bloody bones stretch towards SARAH.
SALAMYRUKAH:
DIE!!!
SOUND (SARAH SHOOTING):
Bang! Bang! Bang!
SARAH:
Go! Move the men!
PANEL 39
ANNABELLE ushering the men out the back door that leads to the corral. In the background, SALAMYRUKAH has hit SARAH and she is flying across the barn towards a pile of hay. PRAIRIE FLOWER is standing in the hayloft aiming her bow. She has hit SALAMYRUKAH in the cheek under the eye with one arrow and another is in flight.
SALAMYRUKAH:
AARRGGHH!!!
SARAH:
Uuunff!
PANEL 40
ANNABELLE standing in front of the door that leads to the corral as the last of the men shuffle out. The men look confused and disoriented. Her pistols are pointed and firing at SALAMYRUKAH who has moved to attack her. The demon now has 3 arrows in her face. Her large fist is right above ANNABELLE about to strike her down.
ANNABELLE:
FUCK YOU GOAT WHORE!!!
PANEL 41
SALAMYRUKAH staggered by a large explosion from behind. PRAIRIE FLOWER illuminated by the light from the blast, stands smiling in the hayloft.
SOUND:
BOOOM!!!
PANEL 42
LUPITA stands in the back of the SARAH’S wagon holding a lit stick of dynamite. JIMBO sits beside her next to the open crate. She has a large lit cigar between her teeth. PECK is sitting in the driver’s seat holding the reigns.
LUPITA:
Eso debió doler como la puta madre!
PANEL 43
SALAMYRUKAH has turned to face LUPITA in the wagon. The explosion has blown off a large piece her right side. Blood and gore pour out of the wound. A lit stick of dynamite flies through the air towards SALAMYRUKAH’S face.
PANEL 44
A large explosion engulfing SALMYRUKAH’S head. Blood spatter and pieces of witch and goat flesh fly in all directions.
PANEL 45
View from SARAH’S eyes. She is lying in a pile of hay. PRAIRIE FLOWER, LUPITA, and ANNABELLE huddle over her looking down. They are covered in sweat, suet, and blood. The explosion has blown out the burning section of the roof exposing the full moon.
LUPITA:
Gracias querido nino Jesus.
Vamanos Comanchera!
ANNABELLE:
Holy shit! You’re alive! You stood toe to toe with a demon and lived to tell the tale!
PRAIRIE FLOWER:
<Can you walk?>
PANEL 46
SARAH being helped to her feet by the other women.
SARAH:
Where’s Nathan?
NATHAN:
I’m here honey bee.
PANEL 47
SARAH and NATHAN hold each other. Lips locked in a kiss.
PANEL 48
View of the fully engulfed BLACK BARN through the BLACK GOAT CORRAL. Witch and goat parts litter the ground.
PANEL 48
NATHAN drives the wagon away from the corral. SARAH sits with her feet hanging off the back of the WAGON next to PRAIRIE FLOWER and LUPITA watching the flames send smoke up to the full moon. ANNABELLE rides alongside on her horse.
SARAH:
Fuck them witches.
